Der Ursprung jedes Lana Color Teppichs liegt in den weiten Graslandebenen
Neuseelands. Die hohen, kühlen Lagen und eine relativ hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit
bieten optimale Bedingungen für die Schafzucht. Aufgrund dieses Klimas ist
Schurwolle aus Neuseeland besonders weich und bis heute die hochwertigste
und reinste der Welt.
Auch die Weiterverarbeitung zu erlesenen Garnen basiert auf der langen hand-
werklichen Tradition Neuseelands. Im traditionellen Filzverfahren wird die
naturbelassene Schurwolle zu Garnen von erlesener Qualität weiterverarbeitet.
Die hohe Farbbrillanz wird durch den edlen Lüster unterstrichen.
The origin of each Lana Color carpet is from the vast grasslands of New Zealand.
The high, cool plains and a relatively high air humidity provide optimal
conditions for sheep breeding. Thanks to this climate pure New Zealand
wool is especially soft and the most high-class and purest of the world to date.
Also the further processing to precious yarns is based on the long craftsmanship
tradition of New Zealand. Using the traditional felting process, the natural pure
new wool is further processed to yarns of exquisite quality. Characteristic of the
lustres is their particular vividness and colour brilliance.
